The Finite and The Infinite

darefire This is an amazingly balanced album. It has atmosphere and brutality in perfect proportion. Both in terms of heavy riffs and beautiful parts with Cello, as well as production that’s polished enough to be powerful but raw enough to keep things wild and inspired. The all-bass thing also doesn’t come across like a gimmick; it’s one aspect of solid songwriting that makes up a mesmerizing and bludgeoning album. Nobody plays more than they need to, and the songs hang in exquisite balance. Unique

jjkoczan A righteous, true exercise in brutality and breadth. The Finite is your lungs and The Infinite is the amount of concrete being poured in them. All this low end onslaught and a human, emotional resonance too? Even more devastating.

I find myself here again just like visiting an old friend ritual of misery spiraling uncertainty constant and repeating routine but fleeting impudent mental anguish self inflicted deprivation the pattern repeats itself can't break the criteria all familiar and retreating so persistent and defeating waiting for one to end only to begin again traumatic repetition a search for light in the suffering the shoreline seems so distant now in an ocean of self doubt I drown to be free from this wall-less institution is to be free from this life itself

we begin this voyage some where in space some when in time destination beyond perception with vapid egos not far behind on electric vibrations we sing the songs of the limitless displaying paths forward hidden to the cosmic illiterate billions of suns and skies we inherit that which never dies the trails left by our existence echoes out into the void countless lives and countless death compassion is long bereft indifference is inevitable when you're finite in the infinite
